Global blockchain event was taken place in early August at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology.
The event name was named as Launching Ceremony of Global Blockchain Industry-University Collaboration, and it was organised by TUL, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology(Taiwan Tech), the blockchain regtech company QRC, and the blockchain R&D company Infinity Blockchain Labs(IBL).
The number of global blockchain experts gathered in Taipei and participated in this event for the exploration of blockchain technologies primarily in education and research fields.
National Taiwan University of Science and Technology would make this opportunity further to achieve the blockchain revolution even in Taiwanese market, along with other cutting edge technologies, including AI and IoT, Taiwan Tech’s Vice President and Professor Day-Yang Liu said.
QRC Group CEO Adam Vaziri noted that corporation and communities are keywords in the blockchain market, adding that the collaboration with universities would be necessary for the further development in this cutting-edge technologies.
Daniel Friedman of INPUT OUTPUT Business Development, said in his speech that the collaboration and cooperation between private sector blockchain ventures and the research community is crucial in furthering the evolution of the blockchain industry.
IBL’s CEO Junya Yamamoto said blockchain would make a further impact on various industries in future, as Internet did before.
NTUST’s Distinguished Professor Hsipeng lu(Ph.D) made a keynote speech with its title on “ RoadMap of Blockchain Perspectives of Mine”.
The number of attendees, including students, was over 100.
